Marklin 3084

3084 - Heavy freight locomotive with cab tender

With it's low axle weight it could also be used on light railroads. Because of this versatility over 3000 machines of this type were built between 1939 and 1943. More than 2000 of these were taken over by German Federal Railways. After 1961 some of the tenders were fitted with cabs, as on this Marklin model. Maximum speed 80km/h (50 mph). Length over buffers 22.94m (75ft 3inches).
