This is an 8 channel I2C isolated multiplexer
It combines a TCA9548 I2C multiplexer with an ISO1540 isolator.
This protects your command station from incorrect voltage on the I2C buss
Simply connect the supplied 50mm Qwiic cable between the DCC-EX command station and the IN end of the board.
Provide power (5V or 3.3V DC) to the THRU end of the board either from the Qwiic connector or the adjacent VCC2 and GND2 header.
The eight multiplexer connections are powered from the VCC2 and GND2 power so make sure the devices connected to them are compatible with the power supplied.
More than one RT_ISO_MUX can be connected to the command station and the address can be changed as required on the A0-A1-A2 pins. Address selection is show on the pcb.
This comes with one 50mm Qwiic cable
Please advise if you want screw terminals or pin headers in the VCC1/GND1 and VCC2/GND2 positions at checkout.
